Last night, Emma and I went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The movie was remarkable, but what I wanted to share was this: on the way there, I saw an older gentleman stop to give a homeless man his jacket. It was one of the more compassionate, caring acts I think I've ever seen, particularly from one stranger to another.

Zack,
It is good to know that you notice what is most important. I found the film beautifully produced but why did they make Cate Blanchett lie and speak as if she were about to kick the bucket for three whole hours! Didn't you want to give her a drink of water? How frustrating!
The message, nothing lasts, within the first half hour, was loud and clear. Maybe the director didn't need to keep reminding us every half hour after that.

I loved the woman who played the mother to BB.
